Capital Jazz Project – Canberra’s Winter Jazz Music Festival
The Capital Jazz Project will be run over the course of ten days with original improvised and scored work, spontaneously invented, adventurous, re-examined scores, and innovative projects and artists that are in the Jazz scene today.
Featuring a diverse range of international, national and ACT-based artists, the line-up will have the jazz icons The Bad Plus from the USA, Grammy-award winning saxophonist Joe Lovano with Paul Grabowsky, master drummer Eric Harland from the USA, home-grown Aussie band Divergence Jazz Orchestra, and many more amazing performers.
This festival is all about nourishing the connection between top quality jazz musicians and their audiences in a joyful way.
