The majority of us have a playlist for getting in the mood with our partner. While this has typically included classics such as Let’s Get It On and others, many of us might want to update it somewhat.
However, this opens up the question about which songs should be added, as well as whether or not we’ll want to remove any. While there’s quite a significant number of new songs to get it on to, many of us might struggle to choose between them.
Though everybody will likely have certain preferences, there are a few of them that stand out much more from the rest. Whether it’s through the overall message that the song sends, or just the sensuality and eroticism that’s on display, there are a few of them that should be added to the majority of people’s playlist.
With how varied the musicians and genres are, few people should have a problem adding a few specific songs to their sexy playlist.
1. “Adore,” by Cashmere Cat feat. Ariana Grande
This EDM song features Ariana Grande’s vocals over an EDM track and tells the story of taking a relationship out of the friend zone and into the bedroom. Grande’s breathy, sensual voice has been well-known for years as somewhat seductive, with her vocal performance fitting in perfectly here.
Cashmere Cat has been a frequent collaborator of Ariana Grande, with this ongoing chemistry being evident on Adore. Features on the Eclectic Dining album, there’s nothing here that doesn’t scream sensuality and eroticism. As such, it’s a song that should be on everybody’s playlist for when they’re getting in the mood.
2. “Feeling Myself,” by Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj
Both Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj have been well-known for having a variety of songs that have a certain amount of sensuality. As a result, they’ve both appeared on quite a large number of sex playlists for a significant amount of time. However, it’s their collaborative effort on Feeling Myself that takes the cake.
This is a song that can be used to get in the mood regardless of whether you’re by yourself or with a partner. Its message of taking control in the bedroom can be appealing to the majority of women, and could even encourage a few naughty moves during the act.
3. “Shallow,” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper
Passion is the first thing that anybody will hear from this song by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. As a result, it’s one of the better songs to get in the mood to, especially once it properly gets going. This doesn’t mean that it’s only good for getting in the mood, however.
Instead, it’s something that can get you pumped for just about anything. When it comes to the bedroom, though, who wouldn’t get in the mood somewhat when they’re thinking of Lady Gaga and a bearded Bradley Cooper?
4. “Good for You,” by Selena Gomez feat. A$AP Rocky
While Selena Gomez may not be well-known for her R&B work, she certainly knows when to flaunt it. This is highlighted in Good for You featuring A$AP Rocky, where the singer also adds a certain amount of eroticism and sensuality.
While this is somewhat restrained, it goes farther than many other songs that you might find. Good for You focuses on getting dressed up for her partner and having a good time, something which is accentuated with A$AP Rocky’s guest rapping. There are relatively few songs that can up the ante when it comes to the sensuality and intimacy that this song has.
5. “Sex with Me,” by Rihanna
What’s the point in beating around the bush? Rihanna gets straight to the point with this single and spares no expense in ramping up the sexuality. The singer has always been known for being relatively blunt, with Sex with Me taking it to a whole new level.
Quite a large number of Rihanna’s songs can be added to your playlist for getting in the mood, although this is definitely one of the more recommended. Featuring a sex-positive message and a beat that few people should have a problem with, there are almost no songs that are perfectly suited to a sensual playlist better than this.
Naturally, everybody’s going to have different preferences for their ‘getting in the mood’ playlist. However, all of the above have been well-known for helping quite a large number of people feel frisky in the bedroom.
There are also a few of the more obvious ones that you can add in, such as “Let’s Make Love,” by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, “Let’s Get It On,” by Marvin Gaye, and many other classics. To keep it somewhat fresh, however, why not add in some of the above alongside them?
At a certain volume, you should be sure to have quite a sensual time without bothering the neighbours too much.
