Why does the adult industry need X Awards?
The Australian Adult Entertainment Business Awards 2019 were born out of a need in the industry craving respect, inclusion and the ability to showcase industry stories. X Awards are an Australian Adult Entertainment Awards program celebrating, rewarding and uniting the people who shape the Australian Adult Industry.

Presented by Sweet Release Agency, a family owned Adult Industry Marketing and Public Relations Agency, the X Awards founder and CEO Jett Black’ mission is to unite adult businesses and adult entertainers and debunk mainstream media’s misrepresentations of the Australian Adult Industry.
“…having worked in the Adult Industry for over 10 years, first as a sex worker and then several other professions which lead to my career as an Adult Industry Publicist and Digital Marketing Geek; I have moved through many different circles and seen how difficult it is for our industry to unite and how Mainstream Media and society vilifies us for our careers. It is my hope that X Awards debunks these misrepresentations of our industry, strengthens our industry’s sense of pride and community, providing a way forward for our industry to be treated equally and with respect” says Jett Black, Founder and CEO of X Awards and Sweet Release Agency.
There are 30 award categories that are decided by Peer Votes and Fan Votes. Note: Voting has note closed.
The mainstream media has been invited to showcase the program, with the aim to bust myths and misconceptions about the adult industry and the people who work in it. While our culture has become more accepting of sexual diversity, there is still a long way to go to de-stigmatise the career choices of sex workers, performers and actors in the industry.

Prize Pool

When are the Awards?
The X Awards are on 9th November 2019 held at Chasers Night Club in the Crystal Lounge (the same weekend as Sexpo Melbourne).

Entertainment includes “Australia’s Got Talent” Finalist, Gayna Tension – Australia Best Liza Minnelli and Shirley Bassey Live Singing Drag Impersonator, Recording Artist and Female Stripper SADZIAH debuting her new single ‘Sashimi’, hosts including Daliah Amor, Jane Untamed and Jett Black and the team from Sweet Release, while canapes, cocktails and media are in abundance.
